Hi there!  If you’ve managed to find this blog, you probably already know me, but if you don’t, here’s a brief history:

I guess you could say I started cooking when I was four.  Once upon a time my wonderfully patient baby sitter let me take random ingredients out of the baking cabinet, mix them with eggs, and bake this concoction in a muffin pan. This resulted in rubber muffins.  Fairly inedible, but they bounced!  And they smelled like cinnamon.

I really started to cook in high school when I decided to become a vegetarian. After a few weeks of testing whether or not a woman can live on bread alone, I ventured into the kitchen.  In case you’re wondering…you can, but I don’t recommend it.

I recently joined the daring kitchen, which was a big motivator in starting this blog.  You can look forward to reading my challenges as I’m allowed to post them!

At the moment I’m halfway through my second year of medical school.  My career du jour is pediatrics.  It could be said that avoiding my books is another motivator in starting this project, I definitely don’t have the time for it, but here I am anyway.

Any more questions?
